All 13 petitions filed in the Supreme Court against the premature dissolution of Parliament will be considered today, before a three-judge bench presided over by Chief justice Nalin Perera.
The other two judges are Justices Priyantha Jayawardena and Prasanna Jayawardena, Asian Mirror learns.
All political parties in Parliament, except for the UPFA and the EPDP, have challenged the premature dissolution of Parliament despite provisions in the 19th Amendment.
Among those challenging the dissolution of Parliament are Ratnajeeban Hoole, a member of the Independent Elections Commission.
