Ministers Sagala Ratnayaka, Arjuna Ranatunga and Malik Samarawickrama will accompany Prime Minister Wickremesinghe at the meeting, Asian Mirror learns.
The meeting will take place amid reports claiming President Maithripala Sirisena had blamed India's intelligence bigwigs for attempting to assassinate him.
The President had also opposed India's involvement in a major port development project in Colombo, multiple media reports said.
As these stories surfaced, President Sirisena held a telephone conversation with Modi to clarify his position. Sirisena had assured Modi that he never made any comment blaming India at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
Indian High Commissioner in Colombo Taranjit Singh Sandu also met President Sirisena last morning to seek a clarification on his remarks on the RAW involvement in an alleged assassination attempt.
The confusion surrounding the remarks made by President Sirisena is expected to run high at the bilateral meeting between the Sri Lankan Prime Minister and his Indian counterpart.
