Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said there was no need to launch misinformation campaigns against the current government as its leaders are digging their own political graves.
Addressing a meeting in Kosgama yesterday, Rajapaksa said the government's disastrous action should be communicated to the public by the opposition. .
"That alone is enough to bring them down, " Rajapaksa explained.
"The president himself said two of his ministers had asked for commissions from the Gin-Nilwala project, " he added.
"If they have information about corrupt ministers, they should promptly reveal them to the public. The people have a right to know, " he also said.
The former President added that every aspect of the country was stuck in a deadlock.
