Finance and Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera said strict action would be taken on those attempting to sabotage the 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' initiative launched under Bugest proposals for 2018.
The Minister made this remark while addressing 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' loan applicants in the Matara District.
Samaraweera said a special hotline, 2025, would be introduced next week to gather complaints about the implementation of the loan scheme.
This came in the wake of cliams that banks at village level were not facilitating 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' loans.
The Minister said those who ae not supporting 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' are attempting to derail the project.
Samaraweera said the government hoped to create 100,000 entrepreneurs in the country within the first year of the program consisting of collateral free concessionary loan schemes for entrepreneurs.
