Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, a short while ago.
Rajapaksa is currently in New Delhi on an invitation of Dr. Subramanian Swamy, an MP of the ruling BJP. The former President's visit to India was facilitated by the Virat Hindustan Sangam, led by Swamy.

This was the second time when Modi met Rajapaksa after the latter fell out of power in January, 2015.
