President Maithripala Sirisena's media team made another faux pas yesterday, when they posted a wrong tweet about the Sri Lankan netball team's victory at the Asian Championship. 

The tweet congratulated the team on winning the Asian Championship for the fifth consecutive time. 

In reality, however, Sri Lanka won the Asian netball championship after a hiatus of nine years. But, the team has won the Asian championship five times. 

Therefore, it was clear that the President's media twan had used its imagination when they said the netball team won the Asian championship for the fifth consecutive time . 

The tweet was later taken down by the operators of the President's twitter profile when twitter users pointed out that it was flawed.
