Nearly two days after his transfer to the Jayawardenapuea Teaching Hospital, Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasar Thera was today sent back yo the Prisons Hospital. 

This was the third time the monk was moved after he admitted himself to hospital for a surgery last month. 

The controversial monk's surgery was performed just days after the Court of Appeal verdict which sentenced him to a 06  years Rigorous Imprisonment. 

After the surgery, the monk was transferred to the Prison Hospital as per the usual protocol. He remained under the close watch of prison officers at the Prison Hospital. 

He was suddenly sent to the Jayawardenapura Hospital last week due to an undisclosed reason. The monk's BBS allies said the monk, who was recovering from a surgery, needed closer medical attention. 

Today, however, he has been sent back to the Prison Hospital, government authorities confirmed. They refrained from giving further information on the monk's health condition.
