Parliamentarians and leading activists of the Joint Opposition met in Colombo, a short while ago, to discuss final arrangements for their protest rally in Colombo tomorrow.
The meeting, chaired by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was conducted by Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa.
Other members of the Rajapaksa family, including former Minister Basil Rajapaksa and former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, were notable absentees.
Senior Parliamentarians representing the SLFP '16 group', including former Ministers Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, John Seneviratne and Susil Premajayantha also attended the meeting.
However, the location of their final rally and the itinerary of the march still remain a secret.
A JO MP who attended the meeting said only the 'meeting points' were discussed at the meeting.
"Everyone will get to know about our elaborate plans tomorrow," he added.
