Sri Lankan opener Dhanushka Gunathilaka who recently faced a ban over disciplinary charges made a dramatic comeback by becoming the man of the tournament of Sri Lanka's domestic T20 league.
Gunathilake, who has returned to the national squad for Asia Cup, was given the title for his all round performance.
Gunathilake scored 247 runs and picked 7 wickets with his off spin at an economy rate of 6.23 bowling 26 overs.
He was also one of the most consistent players throughout the series.
Gunathilake recently faced a ban over an incident involving a 26 year old Norwegian woman. Although he was acquitted of sexual harassment charges, it was revealed that the cricketer was out with the Norwegian woman during the 'team curfew'.
