The report of the inquiry against PArliamentarian Vijayakala Maheswaran, conducted by the Police Organized Crimes Division, has been handed over to the Attorney General's Department. 

Maheswaran also gave a statement to the Organized Crimes Division on the remarks she made in Jaffna on the revival of the LTTE. 

The former State Minister said the LTTE should be resurrected to ensure the well-being of Tamils in the North.

She had to step down from her ministerial portfolio following the controversial remark.

Police sources said the Attorney General would decide on the legal action against the MP.
