President Maithripala Sirisena, in a shocking statement, said he was not aware as to who made the '100 day programme'.
The 100 day programme was the basis on which President Sirisena launched his Presidential election campaign. He also put it out as a manifesto and pledged to abolish Executive Presidency in 100.
At the Presidential election, Sirisena sought a mandate from the country to implement his '100 day programme.'
Addressing a commemoration event for the late Maduluwawe Sobhitha Thera, Sirisena said he did not even get an invitation for the event.
"Similarly, many things in the country happened without my knowledge."
"I can reveal the ones who completely destroyed Maduluwawe Sobhitha Thera's wishes and aspirations. I can reveal it all if I attend a public debate or a discussion," Sirisena added.
"When I appointed Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister, the UNP had only 42 seats in Parliament. Former President Rajapaksa had 142 seats," he said.
"Of the 142 seats, 127 MPs were from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party," Sirisena stated.
