Bandaragama Police has arrested popular actress Deepani Silva following an accident a short while ago. 

Her car had reportedly collided with a three-wheeler injuring a child, this morning. 

The child has been hospitalized for further treatment. 

The actress is also a member of the Purawesi Balaya organization, a prominent civil society movement in Sri Lanka.
