The Southern province Education Ministry has ordered all pre-schools in the southern province closed for six days, to prevent a deadly virus from spreading.

The pre-schools wills thereby be closed from tomorrow (May 22) to May 27.

Five children have died in the month of May alone after having contracted a flu that displayed symptoms of pneumonia.

Hospitals in the South have seen an influx of patients with the flu, that spreads primarily among children.
