Met Department said this morning that adverse weather condition that has affected  Sri Lanka will continue today as well. 

It said many areas in the Western, Central, Uva and Sabaragamuwa provinces will experience heavy rains exceeding 150 mm. 

All schools in the Sabaragamuwa Province have been closed down due to inclement. 

The Education Ministry said other  provincial authorities too have been instructed to make decisions accordingly to ensure safety of schoolchildren.
