The Sri Lanka Freedom Party Central Committee has decided to appoint temporary office bearers to all key positions in the party on June 03. 

A Central Committee member said this would be the first step of a comprehensive reform programme within the party. 

He added that all the 'top positions' in the party will change apart from the party leadership. 

The permanent office bearers of the party, he said, would be appointed before September 03. 

the Central Committee of the SLFP met this evening, under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena.
