Private Bus Owners Association today demanded a 10% increase in bus fare next week. 

The Association said a price hike was necessary due to increased fuel prices. 

However, a discussion on the proposed rise in bus fares will take place between the Transport Ministry and the Association next week. 

Meanwhile, the Three wheel drivers associations yesterday said it had decided to increase the Tuk Tuk fares following the fuel price hike.
