The 'scientific' Cabinet reshuffle of the unity government has begun by appointing two different ministers for 'Hill Country Development' and 'Hill County Heritage'. 

While Minister Lakshman Kiriella has been appointed the Minister of Hill Country Development, along with his other portfolio - State  Enterprise Development. 

In spite of Kiriella's appointment, Minister Sarath Amunugama has been appointed the Minister of Hill Country Heritage. 

Both Ministers represent the District of Kandy.
