Ministers representing the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) held a special meeting with President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today, informed political sources said. 

The meeting took place immediately after the Cabinet reshuffle chaired by President Sirisena this morning. 

An SLFP Minister who attended the meeting said a wide range of issues concerning the SLFP group in the government were discussed at the meeting. 

The meeting also comes amidst speculations of a comprehensive cabinet reshuffle.
