The southern expressway has earned a record revenue of Rs. 30 million on April 11, the Road Development Authority (RDA) said. 

In a statement, it added that nearly 105000 vehicles had travelled along the Southern expressway on that day. 

The RDA stated that over 40,000 vehicles entered into the Southern expressway on the eve of April 14, causing severe traffic. A few accidents were also reported on the Southern Expressway on April 15. 

The expressway has also earned a revenue of approximately 29 million on April 15.
