Lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant is currently in Sri Lanka, as evinced by pictures posted on the rockstar’s social media.

Plant had posted pictures of two colourfully bedecked lorries only seen in Sri Lanka on his Facebook and Instagram, indicating he was touring the country.

The pictures were discovered by fans on social media who shared it far and wide hoping to find out more details of the star's whereabouts in Sri Lanka. 

Plant is the latest in a list of star's visiting Sri Lanka - Kit Harrington, who plays 'Jon Snow' in the hit HBO fantasy series, 'Game of Thrones', was here in December last year, and several others have been spotted in Sri Lanka. 

Tourism grew by 17% the last year, indicating Sri Lanka was earning a place as a hot travel destination.
