The Sri Lanka Freedom Party ministers representing the unity government will boycott the Cabinet meeting today.
The decision was arrived at during the Central Committee meeting of the SLFP last night.
The Cabinet meeting, however, will be chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena, the leader of the SLFP.
The Central Committee also agreed to hold another meeting tomorrow, where the party will decide its continuation in the unity government.
The SLFP members who voted against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe during the no-confidence vote have decided to sit in the oppositoon from April 19.
