Another round of discussion between President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is currently underway. 

The discussion is an extension of the discussion they had last night at the official residence of the President, in Colombo. 

A group of UNP ministers are also attending the meeting, political sources said. 

Following the meeting, the President and the Prime Minister are expected to take part in the weekly Cabinet meeting.
