No-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is to be handed over tomorrow by the Joint Opposition, Asian Mirror learns.
Joint Opposition MP Wimal Weerawansa earlier said it would be handed over to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya on March 06.
Although the SLFP is inclined to support the no-confidence motion, the party has not yet expressed its opinion officially.
The JVP has also indicated that it will not get involved in the no-confidence process.
It is believed that a group of MPs from the UNP will support the no-confidence motion.
