The Police Special Task Force has been deployed to beef up security in the Teldeniya area after several racially motivated incidents were reported yesterday. 

The racially motivated incidents, according to the Police, were reported after one person died due to a personal dispute. 

Although the Police had arrested several suspects in relation to the murder, the incident led to racially motivated incidents in the area. 

The Police had also arrested 12 people over the incidents yesterday.
