Managing Director of Chevron Lubricants Lanka Kishu Gomes has said that Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake is among his favorite politicians from the opposition.
Commenting on politicians on the opposition, he said former UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa was also on his favourite list. He has made these remarks in an interview with a Sinhala newspaper today.
Speaking further about his political preferences, Gomes has also said that he respect Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Deputy Minister of Finance, from the politicians of the government. “The politician I despise the most is also from the ruling party,” the business leader has added.

Kishu Gomes bagged the prestigious Young Director of the Year 2003 award. This was the maiden award by the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, the prime forum for stewards of Sri Lanka's business.
He created history by being elected to head two US multinational companies operating in Sri Lanka, Caltex Lubricants Lanka Limited and Caltex Ceylon Limited as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in 2001 at the age of 37.
