Vehicular traffic will be restricted from the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to Colombo Shangri-la this evening due to the arrival of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Accordingly, roads leading from the BIA through the highway to Borella junction and on towards the heart of Colombo will be closed from 4.30 pm – to 5. 10 pm.

The same roads will be restricted on Wednesday (24) from 1.55 pm, when the Singaporean Prime Minister leaves the country.

Meanwhile, the Singaporean PM is due to visit Parliament on Wednesday and roads leading from the Shangri-la Hotel in Colombo to the Parliament will be closed.
