The Police Narcotics Bureau will destroy 900 Kg of Cocaine seized by them on January 15, the Police Media Unit said. 

They added that this would take place in Katunanaike.

Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayaka said measures would be introduced to destroy narcotics seized by the Police in public. 

Narcotics worth over Rs. 375 million have been seized by Police last year. 

The raids have been conducted by the Police Special Task Force (STF), the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) and Organized Crimes Prevention Division (OCPD).
