A day before the Supreme Court's opinion on the matter, SLFP General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake said President Maithripala Sirisena will continue as the President of the country till 2021.

Dissanayake made this remark addressing a UPFA election rally in Anuradhapura, this evening. 

The SLFP General Secretary also stated that the current government would continue until 2020 without any problem. 

He also said the UPFA's victory was certain at the forthcoming Local Government election .

Dissanayake's remark came a day before the Supreme Court is scheduled to present its opinion on whether President Sirisena cam serve in office for 6 years.
