Sri Lanka has named a 16 member squad, which will leave to Bangladesh to take part in the upcoming Tri-Nation series between Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
The team will depart to Bangladesh on January 13, the Sri Lanka Cricket announced,
Minister of Sports Honorable Dayasiri Jayasekera has given his approval to the squad. the members of the team are as follows,
Angelo Mathews, Upul Tharanga, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Janith Perera, Thisara Perera, Asela Gunaratne, Niroshan Dickwella, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep, Dushmantha Chameera, Shehan Madushanka, Akila Dananjaya, Lakshan Sandakan and Wanidu Hasaranga.
Sadeera Samarawickrama who played for Sri Lanka during the recent tour in India has been excluded from the squad. Kusal Mendis, who was left out of the Indian tour, has been recalled to the side.
Angelo Mathews, who stepped down from captaincy several months ago, has been reappointed as the Captain.
