Just five days after demanding the Police Special Task Force (STF) security for his son, Police State Miniter Piyasena Gamage had stormed the Nagoda Police Station on January 01, and scolded its officers in filth.
The officers had earned the ire of the State Minister for issuing fines on some motor cyclists who rode without helmets.
Apparently, the motor cyclists were supporters of Gamage and they were on their way to attend a meeting organised by him.
When the supporters brought the incident to the State Minister's notice, Gamage had stormed the Police station and lashed out at the officers who issues fines on his supporters.
The incident took place within the first week of Gamage's appointment as the State Minister of Law and Order.
