Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his son Namal Rajapaksa visited Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan at a private hospital in Colombo, today.
The two Rajapaksas visiting the hospital were seen wearing masks to protect themselves from germs.
Sampanthan was hospitalised on Friday as he suddenly fell in while attending to the nomination process of the Tamil National Alliance.
The hospital sources said Sampanthan's condition was not serious and he only needed some rest.
Sampanthan is expected to lead the election campaign of the party in the North and East provinces.
