The seventh annual SAARC Film Festival 2017 organized by the SAARC Cultural Center, Sri Lanka will be held from 21st to 25th November at ‘Tharangani’ Cinema Hall of the National Film Corporation, Colombo 07.

Award winning films from all the eight SAARC countries will be screened at this festival, free of change.

In addition to the film festival, a Master Class on the film industry will also be held with international experts on 24th November from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Russian Cultural Center, Colombo.

At the Award Ceremony to be held on the 25th of November at 6.30 p.m. at the ‘Tharangani’ Cinema Hall, the Best Feature Film, the Best Short Film, the Best Director, the Best Actor, the Best Actress, the Best Cinematographer, the Best Editor, the Best Screenplay, the Best Original Score, the Best Film – Open Category, and Two Special Jury Awards will be presented on the selection of internationally acclaimed panel of judges from Australia, Iran and Portugal.
