Former President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senerath appeared before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today.

He, together with Piyadasa Kudabalage and Neil Bandara Hapuwinna are alleged to have misused government funds amounting to Rs. 4 billion.

At a previous occasion, the three men filed FRs at the Supreme Court seeking to prevent their arrest.

They are being investigated under the Public Property Act.
