Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka Yuri Materiy met the State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene on Tuesday (24).

A cordial discussion was held during the meeting on matters of bilateral importance and mutual relevance.

Defence Attaché of the Russian Embassy was also present during the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador also met the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Kapila Waidyaratne PC on Tuesday.
