The infant that was born in a Sri Lanka Air Force helicopter this morning was stillborn, Ratnapura General Hospital sources confirmed.

Earlier today a mother gave birth in an Air Force helicopter while being evacuated from Kalawana to Ratnapura.

Ratnapura General Hospital sources confirmed the mother had been brought to the hospital by ambulance and confirmed the infant had been stillborn.
