The people of Panadura South, Panadura North, Wadduwa, Bandaragama and Anguruwathota have been warned of possible flooding as the safety dam across the Panapitiya and Bolgoda River is in danger of collapsing.

The people living in those areas have been asked to evacuate with their belongings to safer areas on higher grounds.
