A brawl involving students of two faculties at the Ruhuna University ended with management temporarily shutting down the two faculties.

The faculties of Management and Finance and Humanities and Social Sciences will be closed until further notice.

The fight between the two groups of students had occurred last night.

Several students had been hospitalised at the Matale Base Hospital as result of the clash last night.
