A special progress review meeting of the Independent Commissions set up under the 19th Constitutional amendment was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s Office on Wednesday.

The Chairmen, Secretaries, and other officials of Public Service, Elections, National Police, Audit Service, Human Rights, Finance, Delimitation, and National Procurement Commissions participated at this meeting.

Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon was also present.
