An agreement was signed to grant 400 million yuan to develop the economic and technical cooperation between China and Sri Lanka. 

The agreement was signed in the presence of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

 Chinese Deputy Trade Minister Fu Ziying and Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama signed the agreement. 

The Sri Lankan contingent is in China to attend the 'One Belt, One Road' Summit hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping. 

The leaders of over 30 countries are attending the Summit.
