International Trade State Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe said even if he leaves politics he would never change parties.
“In our government, some of our leaders have forgotten who helped them and they have given everything to a handful of people. Capable people have been forgotten and only a few people have been given everything,” he said.
Referring to the statement he made recently that he would step down from politics if he can’t bear being sidelined anymore, he said that even if he steps down he would never change his party.
“There is talk about a reshuffle. I hope this time the President will not will not try to save his skin or pass the ball and will do his job in this regard and appoint capable people to the right places,” the International Trade State Minister said.
