Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam enabled a young boy who lost his father in the Meethotamulla disaster to enroll in Nalanda College, Colombo 10.

It was the boy’s fathers wish to have his son enrolled at Nalanda College.

Thirty-two lives were lost when a section of the garbage heap in Meethotamulla collapsed on residents in the vicinity.
