Petrol workers in some fuel stations have decided to turn away the vehicles belonging to government doctors currently engaged in an islandwide strike.
The Government Medical Officers Association is currently on an islandwide strike today against the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM).
Their strike has severely crippled medical services.
In response to the government medical doctors strikes, attendants at certain fuel stations are see turning away vehicles belonging to doctors.
Some fuel stations also displayed boards saying they would not sell fuel to doctors engaging in the trade union action.
