Another suspect in the Kalutara prison bus shooting incident was arrested by Police yesterday.

The suspect is 38-year old former member of the Armed Forces.

He is a key suspect in several other crimes, including a murder and robbery.

On February 27, a prison bus carrying prisoners from the Kalutara prison to the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court came under attack by armed gunmen.

Eight people, including two prison officers were killed in the shoot-out.
