Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday promised that the government would find a solution to the garbage problem soon.

“The Japanese team of experts has inspected the site already. In addition a team from the World Bank and a local Swedish team have also inspected the area. We expect the report from the Japanese team soon. The others also will report to us. We will find a solution to this problem soon,” he assured the reporters at the conclusion of a meeting with the Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter Most Venerable Warakagoda Gnanaratne Thera.
