UNP MP S. M.  Marikkar questioned parliament exactly one year ago on Meethotamulla, according to this video.

Honourable Speaker,

“You know about the complex nature of this problem. This problem has stretched like rubber these past few years. Now, the Prime Minister, last year, on May 19th, advised the Urban Development Authority (UDA) to call for private proposals regarding this problem. Now it’s been close to a year since then, and we don’t know what the UDA has done about the proposals that came in. No decision has been made,” the MP is recorded saying.
