Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe left on a state visit to Japan this morning.

He is expected to meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other dignitaries.

He is accompanied by Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Special Assignments, Malik Samarawickreme, Minister of Delopment Strategies and International Trade and parliamentarian Ashu Marasinghe.
