Ministry Will ‘Correct’ Institutions That Do Not Implement Tri-Lingual Policy – Mano Ganesan

National Coexistence, Dialogue and Official Languages Minister Mano Ganesan said today that institutions that do not comply with the Cabinet approved policy for tri-lingual signage would be corrected swiftly.

“Cabinet approved my plan for internal & external tri-lingual signboards at state institutions,” he said today. “If there are any faults (my) Ministry will demand the relevant institution to correct it, if not we will correct it,” he said.

The proposal to guide public institutions to rectify any deficiencies regarding implementation of official languages policy, and to provide any required additional funds through the Ministry of National Coexistence, Dialogue and Official Languages, was approved earlier this week by the Cabinet of Ministers.
