Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and Co-Cabinet Spokesperson, speaking at the weekly Cabinet media briefing yesterday afternoon denied reports on travel ban imposed by Qatar for those who wish to visit Sri Lanka due to the spread of the H1N1 virus.
Minister Senaratne said that H1N1 is a form of fever, cough and cold, the symptoms of a normal virus. He further said that children, expectant women and kidney patients must be extra cautious.
