Additional buses will be added to the fleet with effect from Thursday for the convenience of the commuters during the festive season. 3,900 turns will operate from the Pettah main bus stand.

This service will be reintroduced from 15th to 25th of this month to return journey. Chairman of the SLTB Ramal Siriwardena says that the leave of drivers, conductors and other employees engaged in essential services has been cancelled. He also said that the official and regional centers have been given instructions to arrange bus services according to requirements in their respective areas.
