Foreign Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera today condemned the attack on St. Petersburg, Russia.  

‘Sri Lanka condemns the attack in St. Petersburg,' he wrote.

‘Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and the people of Russia.’

Eleven people died and over 40 were injured in the attack on a Russian metro at St. Petersburg last evening.
